My Feelings are Hungry, now What?

Overview

This workshop is for mental health professionals seeking CEUs, individuals who identify as emotional eaters, and other professional caregivers desiring to support clients to a healthier relationship with food.

Objective

  • Understand what emotional eating is and is not.

  • Learn how to define a client’s food relationship and identify its origin.

  • Learn how to improve a client’s ability to identify and manage emotions to reduce instances of emotional eating.

  • Learn how to calm food noise to create a healthier food relationship.

  • Develop the ability to teach clients to use behavioral activation to reduce self-shaming and negative self-talk regarding food behaviors.

Continuing Education Units (CEU)

This workshop offers 3 CEU Credits.

A certificate of completion will be provided at the conclusion of the workshop and emailed to each participant who completed and submitted the evaluation form that will be handed out at the end of the session. If your certificate is lost, a new one can be sent to you for a fee of $10.
